Submit!
it does not matter what the whip is; it is none the less a whip, because you have cut thongs for it out of your own souls. (john ruskin)

How to Submit to itinerant muse:

Pick a theme, select or create a piece (writing, sound, animation, photo, etc.), and submit. Look through itinerant muse to get a feel for content. Then use your imagination and go for it. Submit to writing or synesthesia. Keep the file sizes manageable (i.e., writing under 1000 words, multimedia under 1KB) and don't forget to include a short bio. That’s it!

Payment/Credit for Accepted Works

itinerant muse currently does not offer payment for works published on it, but, in keeping with our intent to create/promote an artistic community, will credit accepted artists with bylines, copyright notices, bios, links to their web sites/blogs or promotion of related events. Published work will remain in our archives, but artists retain all other rights to their work. We, however, reserve the write to edit for length, and clarity.

A Note About Themes

itinerant muse is meant to be an "living journal." In keeping with that, themes will occasionally evolve, split, link, change.

  • I want

Send submission specifying theme and genre in the subject line to the Editor at:
